I had the honor of photographing my husbands cousins maternity session, These two live a block from the beach, he shapes surf boards for a living and they spend most of their free time at the beach. Naturally a beach maternity session was perfect for them, June gloom was in full effect this day. Though the San Clemente Pier was caked in fog and it was like 60 degrees, their excitement to be first time parents made them glow like the suns rays. Allison was a totally natural in front of the camera. She worked the baby belly like a pro.
Just a week after we took these, their baby girl was born. She is absolutely gorgeous just like her Mommy.
For the past year we have been living in Huntington Beach thinking that my husband would be working in Torrance when his company opened up a new yard. At the end of the year he got transferred short term back to South Orange County right by where we used to live. We took that transfer as a sign. He asked to make his transfer permanent and we moved back to Ladera Ranch. Our kids had missed living in Ladera so much and so did we. I can walk my son to school now and in the hot summer months we can go to the water park. We are back where we are happy!
I have been friends with Ashly since I was 18 years old. I have been able to be there as she went away to college, fell in love with Alex, we went to hair school together, got engaged, I watched her walk down the aisle, have her two sweet boys and now I get to see her have her 3rd baby boy. You never know when a life long friend will come into your life, but once they do you know how special they and how you want to keep them forever. I cant wait to see The Bloore Family's new chapter of life and adorable new baby boy!

Some sessions are extra near and dear to my heart, like this one. I have known this beautiful mommy for 6 years now. We have done hair together, been princesses together, laughed together, cried together and now we are mommies together.
As a mom you think you couldn't love another child as much as you love your own. But, then this little princess was born (while we were having my daughters 1st birthday party) and she stole me heart my kids hearts. We love her like she is our own. I even took her newborn pictures. Watching her grow up is such an honor and privileged. Having these 2 beautiful ladies (3 if we count the sweetest frenchie ever) in my life is such an amazing gift.
They will move mountains and change this world...you watch!

This adorable family lifestyle session was seriously so much fun!
It was at O'niell Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon which is an absolutely gorgeous little slice of nature. This was my first time taking photos there and now I can't wait to do another session there.
These sweet little princesses were so cute. The baby loved the camera while the the 2 year old ran around collecting sticks and leaves. We kinda let her lead and it was the best decision!
Family photography doesn't have to be posed looking at the camera. Real, lifestyle photos are the ones that you look at 20 years later and remember all the fun you have chasing your 2 year old in a dried up river bed.
This sweet couple just got stationed here in California from Wisconsin. They will be getting married back home and their sweet son will be their Best Man.

This has got to be one of the most fun sessions I have ever had! The Stone family was visiting from Washington over summer for some Disney fun before school was in session again. Lindsey (mom), works with photographers up in Washington by designing styled shoots hence, why they look like they all walked out of a magazine!

Meet the Ferreira Family! I have know Natalia since junior high. She, her husband and their sweet son now live in Colorado. They came out to Laguna to visit with family and let Wesley see the beach for the first time. He loved it! We couldn't keep him out of the sand and the waves. He even made friends with some local Laguna divers. Even though he wouldn't sit for pictures we still were able to capture some super fun moments to cherish forever.
